I am not a sculptor. I have zero patience for it, but one summer I made this little model of my Lonely Robot. This was probably after Lonely Robot 2 before I added the little round ear things.
Anyway, I just wanted to see how light played off of the physical surfaces. This little guy broke a few months later. (I still have it in a shoebox (Don't tell my wife)). It had since inspired a few sketches, but this remains the only tree-dimensional version of my robot.

This is the first version of Lonely Robot 9.
I had it in my head that the orientation needed to be in portrait. I was so very wrong. I couldn't figure out the angle and make it somewhat engaging. It just flattened out and looked awkward.
I do however think I like the floor better in this version.
